Chalet La Piste is situated in a privileged and cherished hamlet, 150 meter/500 ft above the centre of the resort. In winter the hamlet is largely a car-free zone, preserving the natural beauty of snow covered field, roads and chalet, and inviting for enchanting walks. The residents as well as the many holiday guests of the chalets transport themselves by foot and snow scooter taxi*.

To arrive at chalet La Piste, guests will be picked up from their designated parking lots (250 m) by a Hägglund snow vehicle*, which is the first of its sort in the Valais region. A short ride over the ski slope will bring you, including your luggage, to your snow-topped private chalet, where you will find everything you need for a truly delightful and relaxing stay in the Swiss Alps, whilst having Europe's largest ski area literally at your feet.

During your stay you may easily bring a visit to the centre Haute-Nendaz, offering various shops, supermarkets, sports rental shops, banks, restaurants, bars, and even a disco. A short, sportive walk (roughly 75m) will bring you from the chalet to the snow-cleared road at which you parking is situated and leads towards the resort center. You may continue to walk for 15-20min (an easy walk) to the resort center or decide to take your car from the parking. During the day, you may distinctly ski to the resort centre and return on ski by taking the cable car back up.

At the hamlet itself you will have a cosy ski bar and a friendly local restaurant. Of course, you will be tempted to stay at the chalet and continue to enjoy the magnificent night views, warmed by the log stove.

* Chalet services. Hägglund transport CHF 80 one-way. Snowmobile taxi CHF 25 one-way trip. Hägglund/snowmobile transport may be unable to fully reach the chalet. If so, guests will be required to travel the remaining distance on foot.
